Why choose Rochdale?
Locally sourced ingredients
Taste the best of one of NZ’s sunniest spots.
100% Natural
Packed full of real apple goodness.
No preservatives or added sugar
Just berries, apples, yeast and a splash of glacial water.
New Zealand’s oldest cidery
Originally surrounded by apple orchards and built above a glacial aquifer, the Rochdale cidery began making cider way back in the 1930s.
350m underground
That’s where our cider begins. Our glacial water is sourced deep below our brewery from an ice age reservoir, traced to the Palaeolithic period some 14,000 years ago.
